Dublin West By-Election candidate, Cllr David McGuinness has called for immediate “clarification and reassurance in relation to the Covidien operation in Damastown Industrial Estate in Dublin 15.” This follows the news that Covidien is to transfer part of its facilities from Athlone to Thailand.

Dear Councillors and Deputies
Due to a burst watermain in the Blanchardstown Area water is off for repair. It is hoped that water will be restored to premises by 1pm. Areas affected: Parts of Blanchardstown, Castleknock and Navan Road.
