Swords Area: Ridgewood, Boroimhe and Rathingle
Following a major burst on the watermain on the Forest Road in Swords, repairs have now been completed. The water has been turned back on but will take an hour or more for water to restore to all premises. The crew is remaining on site over the next two to three hours to monitor the situation.

A slightly controversial name for a housing estate may be changed next week as part of a review by Fingal County Council. I received numerous messages from residents complaining about the confusion that the proposed name will cause.

Fingal County Council has decided to suspend today’s full council meeting as a mark of respect to the late Brian Lenihan. Books of condolence will be available for members of the public to sign in the council offices in Blanchardstown and Swords.
