Dublin West Candidate Councillor David McGuinness has expressed his delight at the support returned to him from his native Corduff in the run up to his 1st General Election Campaign. David continues to support Dublin 15 teams and wants to continue this work as a Dublin West TD as part of the next Dáil. Please see Corduff FC Statement below:
“David McGuinness (councillor) sponsored our U12 all Ireland semi final team back in November. David Is a resident of Corduff and also played for Corduff FC. Although he couldn’t kick snow off a rope, his head works much better than his feet and since becoming the youngest Councilor in Fingal county council and one of the youngest councillors in the state, David has helped many people in the Mulhuddart ward.
David is running in this year’s general election, in the Dublin west constituency as his parties youngest candidate in the country, the youngest candidate in Dublin west and an ever popular figure in Mulhuddart, Corduff and the general Dublin 15 area since his election to the council in 2009 at the young age of 22.
It goes without saying that he has grown up in Corduff, schooled in Corduff and now teaches in Corduff – if ever there was a success story in Blanchardstown and there are many, David McGuinness is one of those success stories.
We would like to thank David for his continued support and wish him all the best in the general election.”
