Fingal County Council Closer to Taking Ongar in Charge
Councillor David McGuinness welcomes the news from Fingal County Council that Ongar developer ‘Manor Park Homes’ has submitted the Official Taking in Charge documents to the council. This is an important additional step in the process of transfering the public roads and other essential services into the control of Fingal County Council.
In a circular received by David, Tommy McManus of Fingal County Council’s Transportation Department outlined the Following:

Councillors,
In regard to the proposed taking in charge of the Ongar Estates I wish to inform you that taking in charge documentation has been received from Manor Park Homes.
The documents received will be assessed by our Building Control Section and the completion of any outstanding works will be pursued with Manor Park Homes. Subject to all the necessary documentation being in order, satisfactory completion of any outstanding works and completion of final taking in charge drawings the statutory procedure to take the estates in charge will be initiated as soon as possible.
